Elaine McCracken, the owner of Yogi Generation, discovered the benefits of Yoga several years ago and have been sharing these benefits with a growing number of people on the Isle of Wight.
From an early interest, developed from her family life, Elaine decided to obtain formal qualifications as a Yoga teacher, so that she could pass on the knowledge to others. For five years she has been running Yoga classes, at different venues throughout the Island.
During 2002 she realised a need existed, on the Island, for a dedicated Yoga Centre - with a consequence Yogi Generation was established.
Elaine believes that life moves so fast today that people have almost forgotten how to breath. Society now takes us further and further away from being in touch with ourselves and this seems to be a big cause of many of our illnesses. What Elaine aims to do at Yogi Generation is to provide a calm supportive centre catering for people of all ages and walks of life.” -
“We believe that Yoga is the antidote to everyday life”
