Frequently Asked Questions -
Q: How long before a course do I need to arrive? A: Please arrive aprox ten minutes before a session.
Q: Do I need to make any special preparations? A: It is a good idea to practice Yoga on a reasonably empty stomach. So try not to eat heavily for 1 - 2 hours before a class. (Especially for the more dynamic classes)
Q: What should I wear? A: Wear loose or stretchy comfortable clothing, so it’s easy for you to move and relax.
Q: Do I need bring any equipment with me? A: The studio is well equipped with mats, bolsters, belts and blankets so all you need to bring is yourself.
Q: What should I tell you? A: Let us know if there are any change of circumstances either to your health or contact details.
Q: I’m over 60, not terribly fit and have never done Yoga before. Is it too late for me to take up Yoga. A: It’s never too late to take up Yoga. Poses are adaptable and there is always something you can do to improve your sense of wellbeing, wether it’s gentle movement or deeper slower breathing.
Q: I’d like to start on the beginner’s course, can I just come along. A: You will need to book a place. Just give us a call on 01983 862948.
Q: I’ve already started to feel the positive effects of Yoga and I’m really looking to get the most out of it. How many times a week should I attend classes. A: If you can fit it in with your lifestyle you will really make changes and reap the benefits by coming twice a week.
