Frequently Asked Questions -

Q: How long before a course do I need to arrive?
A:
Please arrive at least ten minutes before a session so that you can sign in and pay your fees.

Q: Do I need to make any special preparations?
A:
It is a good idea to practice Yoga on a reasonably empty stomach. So try not to eat heavily for 1 - 2 hours before a class. (Especially for the more dynamic classes)

Q: What should I wear?
A:
Wear loose or stretchy comfortable clothing, so it’s easy for you to move and relax.

Q: Do I need bring any equipment with me?
A:
The studio is well equipped with mats, bolsters, belts and blankets so all you need to bring is yourself.

Q: What should I tell you?
A:
Let us know if there are any change of circumstances either to your health or contact details.

Q: I’m over 60, not terribly fit and have never done Yoga before. Is it too late for me to take up Yoga.
A: It’s never too late to take up Yoga. We have classes in ‘Gentle Yoga’, ‘Remedial Yoga’, courses in ‘Deep Relaxation’ and ‘Tai Chi’ which would all be suitable and extremely beneficial.

Q: I’d like to start on the beginner’s course, can I just come along.
A: You will need to book a place. Just give us a call on 01983 862948.

Q: I’ve already started to feel the positive effects of Yoga and I’m really looking to get the most out of it. How many times a week should I attend classes.
A: If you can fit it in with your lifestyle you will really make changes and reap the benefits by coming twice a week.

Please let us know if you have any other queries.
